Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Furnace Operations Manager to oversee and optimize high-temperature operations including CVI (Chemical Vapor Infiltration), CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition), Carbonisation, and Graphitization processes within a composite production environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both electrical and mechanical systems, with a proven track record of leading production teams, solving technical challenges, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of high-temperature furnaces for CVI, CVD, Carbonisation, and Graphitization processes.
• Lead cross-functional teams including Jr. Process Engineers, Supervisors, and Trainee Operators.
• Monitor and control furnace parameters, ensuring adherence to process specifications and safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to furnace operations, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive process optimization and productivity improvements using data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, maintenance checklists, and operational documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for timely servicing and calibration of equipment.
• Train and mentor plant personnel on operational best practices and process standards.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in furnace operations within a composite or high-temperature manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of CVI, CVD, Carbonisation, and Graphitization processes.
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude in handling industrial equipment.
• Proven experience in team leadership and cross-functional coordination.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.
• Effective communicator with strong organizational and documentation abilities.
