Doon Animal Welfare is dedicated to providing 24/7 emergency rescue services, medical treatments, and rehabilitation programs for stray animals, including dogs, cats, cows, and others in Dehradun. Our mission is to ensure that every stray receives the care and dignity they deserve. We are committed to creating a better and safer environment for animals through our dedicated efforts. By fostering compassion and responsibility, we aim to make a significant positive impact on the lives of strays.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Fundraiser role located in Jaipur. The Fundraiser will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, building and maintaining donor relationships, and organizing events to generate financial support. Responsibilities include preparing donor presentations, identifying funding opportunities, creating grant proposals, and managing outreach activities to promote the organization's mission. Collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders will also be key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

Fundraising and donor relationship management experience
Event organization, budgeting, and financial planning skills
Strong communication, storytelling, and public speaking skills
Proven ability to create compelling grant proposals
Familiarity with using digital tools for outreach and fundraising
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a team
Passion for animal welfare and understanding of non-profit operations
Flexibility and willingness to work on-site in Jaipur
Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, or a relevant field is preferred
