Fundamental Equity Analyst

As a Fundamental Equity Analyst at our company, you will be an integral part of the Research team. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct deep-dive industry and company research, develop valuation models, and produce high-quality equity research reports. Your insights and analysis will be crucial in influencing investment decisions and strategies. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough fundamental research on companies and sectors to identify investment opportunities and risks. - Develop detailed valuation models using methodologies such as DCF, relative valuation, and other standard techniques. - Prepare comprehensive coverage reports, regular company updates, quarterly previews, and reviews. - Attend management meetings, company calls, and industry conferences to gather insights and stay informed about sector developments. - Maintain a well-organized research database for easy internal and external reference. - Lead sector-specific research coverage focusing on key trends, risks, and developments. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience as a fundamental equity analyst with expertise in sectors such as Banking, Capital Goods, Infrastructure, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, QSR, and New Age Technology. - Proven track record of independently leading at least 3 initiating coverage reports. - Strong financial modeling and valuation skills. - Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing abilities. - Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. - Experience working with boutique or mid-sized broking firms is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: - CA or MBA in Finance. - NISM certification is an added advantage.,
