Role Overview: As a Fund Accounting Senior Manager at our company, you will be responsible for managing a team and driving fund valuation activities to ensure the seamless delivery of Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. Key Responsibilities: - Manage a team of professionals to achieve established goals and conduct personnel duties such as performance evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary actions - Identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend enhancements, and lead system testing - Coordinate staff assignments based on business requirements and development needs - Build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients, serving as the escalation point for complex customer issues - Perform discovery and due diligence with clients and visits regarding service quality measurement - Manage the Risk and Control agenda, including audits, interfacing with auditors, and identifying process gaps - Collaborate with senior management to identify opportunities for cost savings, FTE reduction, and optimization - Work closely with Sales and CEs on client management and service improvement initiatives - Assess risks in business decisions while safeguarding the firm's reputation and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations - Supervise the activity of others and hold them accountable for maintaining standards Qualifications: - 6-10 years of relevant experience - Chartered Accountant/CFA/MBA - Experience in fund accounting and financial services - Experience in strategic management, resource/expense management, and managing client relationships - Experience in managing operational delivery - Extensive knowledge of funds services and processes - Demonstrated leadership and management skills - Ability to work in a team-oriented environment - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in related areas Additional Company Details: The company emphasizes a strong focus on risk management, client relationships, and continuous improvement in operational delivery.
