Functional Business Analyst

Role Overview: You will be responsible for understanding business requirements and translating them into system development specifications. Your role will involve composing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), High-Level Designs (HLDs), Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), and Wireframes where applicable. You will collaborate with architects, tech leads, and clients throughout the project. Key Responsibilities: - Software product and project development - Capturing and documenting requirements (BRD/FRD/Scoping/Wireframing) - Conducting internal progress reviews and pre User Acceptance Testing (UAT) - Providing client training, handing over the project to the client, and assisting in UAT Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (Computer Science) or equivalent - Master's in Business Administration would be an added advantage - 1 to 3 years of work experience with a minimum of 1 year as a Business Analyst Additional Company Details: This position is NOT for Data Analytics. You will be working in a hybrid mode and may need to overlap with US hours for a few days a week. Expectations: - Assist in client or prospect discussions to understand their business processes and capture requirements effectively - Translate clients' business needs into system features being implemented - Collaborate closely with the technical project team to track functional progress and escalate any deviations - Ensure no gaps or scope creep occur from requirement capture to project delivery - Design and develop systems to meet project requirements in coordination with clients, developers, and architects - Utilize Agile development methodology and familiarity with tools like JIRA and project planning tools would be advantageous Job Duties: - Possess excellent communication skills to independently manage client discussions - Demonstrate a passion for solving business and real-world problems through effective system solutions - Exhibit dedication to work and delivering quality results - Strong problem-solving skills to address project challenges effectively Role Overview: You will be responsible for understanding business requirements and translating them into system development specifications.
