Functional Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst at our company, your main responsibility will be to understand business requirements and convert them into system development specifications. This will involve composing BRDs, HLDs, ERDs, and Wireframes when applicable. You will work closely with architects, tech leads, and clients to ensure the successful translation of business needs into technical solutions. Your role will primarily focus on software product and project development, including requirement capturing & documentation (BRD / FRD / Scoping / Wireframing), internal progress review, pre-UAT testing, client training, and handover to clients. You will also be expected to assist in client or prospect discussions, understand their business processes, and map their needs to the features being implemented in the system. Qualifications: - Bachelor of Engineering / Technology (Computer Science) or equivalent - Masters in Business Administration would be an added advantage Expected Work Experience: - 1 to 3 years of experience - Minimum of 1 year as a Business Analyst Key Responsibilities: - Assist in client or prospect discussions and capture requirements effectively - Map clients" business needs to system features - Track functional progress and escalate deviations - Ensure no gaps or scope creep in project delivery - Design and develop systems to meet client requirements - Collaborate with developers and architects for bug-free and timely project delivery - Knowledge of Agile development methodology and tools like JIRA In this position, you are expected to have extremely effective communication skills, a passion for solving business problems, and a strong problem-solving ability.
