As a Full Stack JavaScript Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic and distributed engineering team developing innovative software solutions in the healthcare technology space. You will design, build, and extend modern applications using JavaScript and TypeScript, contributing to a platform that directly impacts patient care and clinical research. The role provides a fast-paced, agile environment where you can apply creative problem-solving and critical thinking to drive features from concept to production. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including QA and DevOps, to ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable software. Accountabilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end components using JavaScript/TypeScript, Express.js, and React/Redux
- Develop and extend APIs to support evolving product features and integrations
- Conduct code reviews and write unit tests to maintain a high standard of engineering quality
- Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize system performance
- Refactor legacy code and implement automation tools to improve development efficiency
- Participate actively in a fast-paced, startup-like environment to deliver innovative solutions
Requirements
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, Express.js, and React/Redux frameworks
- Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Ability to work independently and remotely, managing tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality code
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
