On our app, consumers speak with AI personas, based on actual human astrologers. We care deeply about the problems we get to work on, both from a technical perspective as well as for our users. Technically we have several problems to solve, the biggest being what we call “human intelligence” - AI today knows a little bit of astrology but doesn’t have agency, opinions, EQ, different perspectives on the same knowledge and many more. Astrology is a huge belief system guiding hundreds of millions people, with important decision making and through uncertainty. We don’t take our responsibility in this space for granted.What You’ll Do:
- Build new user-facing features with everything from database models to UI components
- Own projects end to end
- Obsess over performance and quality.
Our Tech:
- React (Next.js / React Native) frontend with Tailwind CSS, utilizing hooks for the composability of functionality
- Node (Bun), Postgres, Redis, Elixir in the backend
- Hosted on Google Cloud with k8s
About You:
- 3+ Years of experience in full-stack development
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience building modern web applications using React and Next.js.
- Backend expertise in Node.js, Python, or Elixir, with a focus on developing scalable APIs and AI-driven services.
- Experience with datastores such as Postgres, MongoDB, Clickhouse, and Redis.
- Experience working with AI models and APIs
- Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud-based architectures.
- A deep understanding of how AI can enhance productivity.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced & high ownership enviroment.
