Full Stack Developer

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong frontend (Next.js, React) and backend (Node.js, Express.js) skills to contribute to the development of our e- commerce/marketplace platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of scalable architecture, RESTful APIs, secure coding practices, and responsive UI/UX.

Key Responsibilities:

Frontend Development:

• Build and maintain modern, responsive UI components using Next.js and React
• Implement cross-browser-compatible, mobile-first designs
• Optimize web performance (loading times, SEO, and Lighthouse scores)
• Integrate frontend with backend APIs
• Follow clean code practices and participate in code reviews

Backend Development:

• Design and implement scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js
• Develop RESTful APIs for frontend consumption
• Build and maintain PostgreSQL databases with Prisma ORM
• Ensure secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Optimize queries and manage database performance
• Write and maintain API documentation

Collaboration:

• Work closely with design, product, and QA teams to deliver features on time
• Collaborate in technical discussions and sprint planning
• Participate in peer code reviews across frontend and backend components

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3-4+ years of full stack development experience
• Strong command over Next.js, React, JavaScript (ES6+)
• Advanced proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Prisma ORM
• Strong understanding of responsive design and state management
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and agile methodologies
• Proven experience with authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with e-commerce or marketplace platforms
• Familiarity with Stripe or other payment gateway integrations
• Knowledge of SEO, performance tuning, and caching strategies
• Experience with AWS services like SNS, SQS
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Portfolio demonstrating full stack project delivery
