Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled FTTH Technical Engineer with strong expertise in GPON & EPON technologies to handle vendor coordination, firmware support, and system integration activities. The role involves working closely with OEMs, internal technical teams, ISPs, and LCOs to ensure stable, secure, and scalable FTTH network operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support GPON / EPON OLT & ONT operations, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Coordinate with vendors (e.g., V-SOL) for firmware upgrades, bug fixes, and feature enhancements
• Perform firmware testing, validation, and rollout support
• Handle OLT license & key management, including updates and renewals
• Support system integration between OLT, ONT, NMS, CWMP (TR-069), and third-party platforms
• Analyze logs, identify root causes, and support L2/L3 escalations
• Assist in interoperability and compatibility testing of network devices
• Maintain technical documentation and submit daily MIS reports
• Provide technical guidance to ISPs, LCOs, and internal support teams
• Visit customer or branch sites for critical issue resolution when required

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in Computer Science / IT / Electronics / Telecommunications
• 2–4 years of experience in FTTH / GPON / EPON network support
• Preferred certifications: CCNA / CCNP / HSNA / HASCNA

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of FTTH architecture, GPON & EPON
• Hands-on experience with OLT / ONT configuration & firmware
• Understanding of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, OSI layers
• Experience with NMS / EMS / CWMP (TR-069) platforms
• Log analysis, troubleshooting, and escalation handling
• Vendor coordination and technical communication skills
• Good documentation and reporting skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
