Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled professional to join our team as a Fruit Sourcing & Channel Development Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end fruit procurement activities, building strong farmer partnerships, ensuring quality standards, and supporting market expansion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Farmer Management:
Identify, onboard, and maintain relationships with contract farmers to ensure a reliable fruit supply.
Procurement & Quality Control:
Oversee daily procurement operations, evaluate fruit quality at source, and ensure adherence to company standards.
Supply Chain Coordination:
Collaborate with logistics, warehousing, and distribution teams to ensure smooth movement of produce.
Market Intelligence:
Monitor market trends, pricing, seasonal availability, and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making.

Essential Requirements:

2 to 5 years of experience in fresh produce sourcing, agricultural supply chain or retail fresh produce category management.
Strong understanding of the Indian fresh fruit market, with exposure to at least 1 to 2 states.
Excellent price negotiation and vendor management skills.
Willingness to travel for farm visits, market surveys, and vendor assessments.
