Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Inspections and Testing: Regularly inspect food products, ingredients, and packaging at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Perform tests like sensory evaluations, chemical analyses, and microbiological testing.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all quality control activities, including inspection results, test data, and corrective actions. Prepare reports for management, highlighting quality trends and areas for improvement.
  • Quality Assurance Procedures: Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
  • Corrective Actions: Investigate and resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence of problems.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant food safety regulations, industry standards (e.g., HACCP), and company policies.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and other quality control personnel, to improve product quality and safety.
  • Training: Train staff on quality control procedures, best practices, and food safety protocols.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the quality control process and implement changes to enhance overall product quality.
