Frontend Developer (React/Next.js & TypeScript)

Position Summary:

Frontend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement responsive, scalable, and maintainable user interfaces using React.js, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality user experiences.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services to enrich application functionality.
• Optimize performance using techniques like lazy loading, code splitting, SSR, and SSG.
• Maintain code quality through best practices, including linting, formatting, and code reviews.
• Write clean, reusable components with a focus on performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Technical Skills:

• Languages & Frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Next.js
• Styling: TailwindCSS, CSS Modules
• API Integration: RESTful APIs, third-party services
• Version Control: Git, GitHub/GitLab
• Tools & Libraries: Axios, Redux (if applicable), Context API, ESLint, Prettier
• Performance Optimization: Lazy loading, code splitting, SSR/SSG (Next.js)
• Testing: (Optional – add tools like Jest, React Testing Library, if applicable)
• Collaboration: Strong communication skills for working with backend teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Core Strengths:

• Deep understanding of the React and Next.js ecosystem.
• Strong TypeScript proficiency ensuring type-safe, maintainable codebases.
• Effective UI development using TailwindCSS and component-based architecture.
• Experience in front-end API consumption and integration with third-party services.
• Ability to interpret and implement product requirements effectively.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration.
• Domain knowledge in travel industry workflows and user journeys is a plus.
