Job Summary: The Receptionist cum Executive (OPD) is a multitasking role responsible for both front desk operations and administrative coordination within the Outpatient Department. This role ensures smooth patient flow, effective communication between departments, and high-quality patient service while handling operational and administrative responsibilities efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Front Desk & Patient Coordination: Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner. Manage patient registrations, appointment scheduling, and maintain accurate records. Handle incoming calls, provide necessary information, and direct inquiries appropriately. Assist in OPD billing, payment collection and other requirements if instructed by the Manager. Ensure smooth patient flow by coordinating with doctors, nurses, and other departments. Administrative & Operational Duties: Ensuring efficient consultation scheduling. Address patient concerns, inquiries, and feedback, ensuring timely resolutions. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with hospital policies and medical guidelines. Monitor documentation, generate reports, and manage OPD performance data. Ensure the reception and waiting areas are organized, clean, and welcoming. Assist in training new OPD staff on customer service, process improvements, and hospital protocols. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or any relevant field. Previous experience in a hospital front office or customer service role is an advantage. Strong multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in hospital management software and Microsoft Office. Ability to handle stressful situations and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
