Front End Web Developer

We are Ginteja Insurance Brokers Private Limited (Promoted by Two Big companies - Shyam Steel and Sastasundar).

We are seeking an experienced and driven client-side Web Developer proficient in market leading client-side technologies (Angular7+, PHP and/or React) to join our growing development team. As a client-side Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications with a focus on high-performance, scalability, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop dynamic, high-performance responsive web applications.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless, responsive, and engaging user interface.

• Work closely with backend developers to integrate with various server-side technologies.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

• Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire web application stack.

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and resolve front-end performance issues.

• Stay updated with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

• Follow Agile development practices and work in sprints to deliver features on time.

Primary Skills (Required):

• Angular 7+: Proficient in developing modern web applications with Angular 7 or later versions.

• PHP Development: Hands-on experience in PHP, including developing user interfaces and working with frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter or Symfony.

• Frontend Technologies: Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.

• UI/UX Design: Basic understanding of UI/UX principles to collaborate effectively with designers. Familiarity with Figma (or similar wireframe/protype tools) to collaborate with designers and implement design-to-code workflows.

• Version Control: Proficiency with Git/GitHub for version control and code management.

• Cross-Browser Compatibility: Knowledge of making web applications compatible across different browsers.

• Database Integration: Familiarity with MySQL, SQL Server or other relational databases for data handling.

• Testing: Hands-on experience in using any testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Mocha, Jest, PHPUnit, etc.).

Secondary Skills (Preferred):

• Cloud Hosting: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

• Javascript Frameworks: Useful to have some understanding and/or exposure to other market leading Javascript frameworks like React / React Native

• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, ensuring iterative delivery and collaboration.

• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

• Basic exposure to Linux as development work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 3-5 years of extensive professional experience in web development.

• Strong portfolio showcasing web applications developed, with links to live projects or GitHub.

• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
