Front End Engineer

In this role at GlobalLogic, you will be an essential part of the team working on a significant software project for a world-class company providing M2M / IoT 4G/5G modules to industries such as automotive, healthcare, and logistics. Your contributions will involve developing end-user modules" firmware, implementing new features, maintaining compatibility with the latest telecommunication and industry standards, as well as analyzing and estimating customer requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Mastery of semantic HTML and advanced CSS for layouts using Flexbox and Grid. - Implementation of responsive design techniques like media queries and fluid grids. - Familiarity with CSS pre-processors such as Sass or Less. - Strong understanding of ES6+ features in JavaScript and familiarity with DOM manipulation and event handling. - Proficiency in React fundamentals including JSX syntax, components, state and props management, lifecycle methods/hooks, and event handling. - Knowledge of CSS-in-JS and styling libraries like Styled components, Emotion, CSS modules, Tailwind CSS, or Bootstrap. - Ability to identify issues, optimize processes, and troubleshoot data-related problems. - Strong communication skills for collaborating with various teams. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends. **Qualifications Required:** - Mastery of HTML and CSS - Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) - Experience with React fundamentals - Familiarity with CSS-in-JS and styling libraries - Good analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and task management skills - Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies At GlobalLogic, we prioritize a culture of caring where people come first.
