Freelance Senior QA Automation Engineer – ETL & API Integration

Role Description

hands-on IT Integration (QA Automation)

• Migrating QA automation from

  Selenium

  and

  Playwright

• Transitioning financials from

  Sedona

  to

  Oracle NetSuite

• Integrating with

  Salesforce

  ,

  Power BI

  , and other enterprise tools

ETL and API testing

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute

  ETL testing

  strategy across multiple data pipelines and systems
• Own and develop

  API testing

  frameworks using

  Postman

  and

  Rest Assured

• Migrate or modernize automation frameworks from

  Selenium

  and

  Playwright

• Coordinate QA integration between

  Salesforce

  ,

  Oracle NetSuite

  , and other platforms
• Work with DevOps teams on

  CI/CD pipelines

  using

  Jenkins

  and

  Azure DevOps

• Provide oversight on

  performance testing

  and database validation (SQL)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Finance) to ensure quality across systems
• Establish testing dashboards and reporting using

  Power BI

  or similar tools

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years

  in QA and automation testing, with

  leadership or director-level

  experience

• Strong hands-on expertise in ETL testing

  (data mapping, validation, reconciliation)
• Solid knowledge of

  API testing

  with

  Postman

  and

  Rest Assured

• Experience with

  Selenium

  ,

  Playwright

  , and transitioning automation frameworks
• Understanding of

  financial system integrations

  , ideally

  Sedona to Oracle NetSuite

• Experience working with

  Salesforce

  integrations and validation
• Strong SQL skills for database validation
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD

  tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps
• Experience with

  performance testing

  tools and techniques
• Knowledge of

  Power BI

  or other BI tools for QA dashboards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in

  post-merger system integration

  projects
• Background in

  product-based companies

  or fast-paced tech environments
• Experience with QA strategies in

  regulated

  or

  finance-heavy domains

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
