Role Description

Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and operate scalable

  data center networks

  (Spine–Leaf / Clos fabric, e.g., J-FAB in OCI).
• Configure and manage

  underlay (BGP, OSPF, MPLS)

  and

  overlay (VXLAN/EVPN)

  networks.
• Build and maintain

  hybrid cloud connectivity

  (IPSec tunnels, BGP peering between on-prem and AWS/OCI).
• Implement

  network security policies

  : firewall rules (Palo Alto Panorama), Zero Trust, and NAC (Cisco ISE).
• Configure and operate

  F5 BIG-IP (LTM/GTM)

  for load balancing and high availability (including GSLB).
• Automate network operations using

  Python, Terraform, and Ansible

  .
• Integrate automation into

  CI/CD pipelines

  (GitLab, Jenkins).
• Perform

  Linux system administration

  tasks including log analysis and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to enforce policies and support services.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and propose automation-driven improvements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in

  large-scale data center networking

  (Clos/Spine–Leaf, VXLAN, EVPN).
• Strong knowledge of

  routing protocols

  (BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
• Experience with

  hybrid cloud networking

  (AWS, OCI, IPSec tunnels, BGP peering).
• Hands-on expertise with

  firewalls (Palo Alto), Cisco ISE

  , and

  F5 BIG-IP (LTM/GTM)

  .
• Proficiency in

  Python scripting, Terraform, and Ansible

  for network automation.
• Familiarity with

  CI/CD tools

  such as GitLab or Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of

  Linux fundamentals

  (logs, commands, troubleshooting).
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to resolve technical discussions with data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in

  multi-region, multi-fabric environments

  enterprise security compliance frameworks

• Exposure to evolving network fabric versions (v1–v4) or large vendor ecosystems.
