Role Description We are seeking an experienced freelance Data Analyst with a strong background in the Life and Annuity insurance domain . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data lifecycle activities including data collection, cleansing, transformation, modeling, and interpretation—particularly for insurance and reinsurance business workflows. Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth data analysis across Annuity and Life insurance datasets. Collaborate with business users to gather and define data-related requirements. Translate business requirements into data mapping and actionable insights. Liaise with development and cross-functional IT teams to support delivery. Document data processes including source-to-target mappings and transformation logic. Support system integration through data validation and SQL-based querying. Work collaboratively with both onshore and offshore stakeholders. Required Skills: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst in IT. Proven expertise in Life and Annuity insurance data lifecycle. Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis. Experience in working on insurance deal implementations and reinsurance data handling. Solid understanding of data modeling and system integration concepts. Strong communication and presentation skills to convey technical insights to non-technical stakeholders. Experience in writing technical documentation such as data mappings and process guidelines. Preferred: Prior experience with implementation of insurance deal structures. Knowledge of reinsurance and policy lifecycle stages within Life and Annuity products. Show more Show less
