Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining bp as an FP&A Business Performance Senior Manager within The Finance Business & Technology (FBT) organization. Your role will involve overseeing a team that handles financial performance reporting and articulates business strategy and actual performance to senior leadership. You will play a key role in driving business planning, performance management, and control activities to support the creation and delivery of the business strategy and financial roadmap. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with business and embedded finance teams to lead core planning activities, including developing budgets, financial forecasts, and resource allocation strategies. - Work in collaboration with local finance leadership to complete the delivery of business planning and performance reporting processes. - Be responsible for the overall accuracy of reporting, ensuring financials are aligned with group policies. - Lead a large team of finance professionals, developing the team through coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job development. - Drive continuous improvement to promote standardization and simplification in financial products. Qualifications Required: - Business/Finance or Engineering Subject area Degree or equivalent - Masters Degree or post-graduate qualification in a finance field e.g. MBA, CA is a big advantage - 15 years of relevant post-degree experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting in an Oil and Gas business or experience in industries such as Retail, Asset-based business, Manufacturing, and Logistics - Minimum 3 years of relevant post-degree experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting in Refining or similar experience in a manufacturing business - Minimum 3 years of relevant post-degree experience in hydrocarbon accounting of a manufacturing business (hydrocarbon volumes and/or its financialization) Additional Company Details: At bp, a culture of respect for diverse and unified teams, pride in achievements, and valuing fun and giving back to the environment is highly emphasized.
