As the FP&A Business Performance Senior Manager, you will be part of The Finance Business & Technology (FBT) organization at bp, which is focused on modernizing and digitizing finance activities. The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team within FBT plays a crucial role in ensuring process control, compliance, and delivering financial insights to support business decisions. By joining this team, you will contribute to driving operational excellence and standardizing processes while providing innovative financial strategies and solutions. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for financial performance reporting, articulating business strategy, and actual performance to senior leadership. You will play a key role in end-to-end business planning, performance management, and control activities to support the business strategy and financial roadmap. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential to establish relationships with local business leadership and prioritize conflicting priorities for the team. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with business and embedded finance teams, overseeing planning activities, developing budgets and financial forecasts, and driving non-routine processes. You will work closely with local finance leadership to deliver business planning and performance reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with group policies. Additionally, you will lead a large team of finance professionals, driving continuous improvement, and promoting standardization and simplification. To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Business/Finance or Engineering, along with a post-graduate qualification in a finance field. You should have at least 15 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting in the Oil and Gas industry or related sectors. Deep knowledge of planning, performance management & control processes, and the ability to provide critical thinking and strategic direction are essential.
