One of our SaaS product based client is looking to hire a Founding Engineer (Frontend) for their team, it's going to be remote role.

About the Role

The Founding Engineer will be responsible for architecting and building high-quality, scalable web applications using React, collaborating with the founding team to define the product roadmap and technical strategy.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build high-quality, scalable web applications using React.
• Collaborate with the founding team to define the product roadmap and technical strategy.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust application architecture, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.
• Apply strong knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms (DSAlgo), High-Level Design (HLD), and Low-Level Design (LLD) to create efficient, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
• Mentor and lead junior engineers, setting coding standards and best practices.
• Work closely with backend engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Continuously improve and innovate on the existing codebase and development processes.
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making as a core team member.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of professional software engineering experience, with a major focus on ReactJS.

Required Skills

• Deep expertise in React, JavaScript, and component-driven development.
• Proven experience designing and implementing scalable architectures using HLD and LLD principles.
• Strong command of Data Structures & Algorithms and their application in real-world scenarios.
• Familiarity with integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Startup or early-stage company experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.
