Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced FRD professional to join our Gummy Division at Daman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for formulation design, development, and scale-up of gummy-based dosage forms in alignment with regulatory and commercial requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize formulations for gummies (nutraceutical and pharmaceutical).

• Conduct pre-formulation studies, ingredient compatibility assessments, and stability testing.

• Evaluate and implement center-in-shell or dual-layer gummy technologies.

• Prepare master formula records (MFRs), batch manufacturing records (BMRs), and development reports.

• Coordinate with Analytical, Production, and QA teams for technology transfer and validation batches.

• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines.

• Support scale-up and commercial manufacturing at the plant.

• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in internal/external audits.

• Research new ingredients, excipients, and process innovations to enhance product performance and consumer appeal.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualification:

Experience:

• 2 to 6 years in Formulation Development (preferably in gummies, soft gels, or confectionery-based dosage forms).

• Hands-on experience in pilot scale and production-scale trials.

• Good understanding of gelatine, pectin, starch, or alternative base systems.

• Strong documentation, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
