Food Truck Driver, Billing & Service Staff Job Description Position: Food Truck Driver & Service Executive Reporting To: Food Truck Owner Work Location: Horamavu Agara & Kammanahalli Work Timings: Morning shift: 6:30 AM → 10:30 AM = 4 hours Evening shift: 4:30 PM (16:30) → 10:30 PM (22:30) = 6 hours Key Responsibilities Driving & Logistics Drive the food truck safely between kitchen, service points, and events. Pick up food trays, containers, and beverages from the kitchen daily by at designated time. Set up the truck and counter at the sales point before opening time. Check truck readiness (fuel, lights, battery, tires, and cleanliness). Assist in refilling LPG, connecting water and power, and ensuring safety compliance. Return all leftover food and containers to the kitchen after closing. Service & Customer Handling Greet customers politely and take orders accurately. Serve food efficiently while maintaining hygiene and portion standards. Manage dine-in and takeaway customers in a friendly manner. Handle online orders from Swiggy, Zomato, and MagicPin. Collect feedback and escalate any customer issues immediately. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the truck throughout service hours. Billing & Cash Handling Operate billing systems or mobile POS for order entry. Manage both cash and digital payments (UPI, QR, cards). Reconcile daily sales and prepare closing reports. Safely hand over cash and digital payment summary to the owner/manager. Maintain accountability for billing slips, tokens, and customer receipts. Closing & Maintenance Clean and sanitize utensils, counters, and truck interiors after service. Restock consumables, packaging materials, and disposables for the next day. Report vehicle or equipment issues immediately. Assist with next-day preparation and loading. Requirements Valid 4 Wheeler LMV driver’s License is mandatory). 2–3 years of experience in driving or food service (preferred). Basic knowledge of vehicle upkeep and F&B hygiene. Ability to handle billing apps, POS systems, or mobile payment tools. Required to work evenings, weekends, and peak hours. Preferred Skills LMV Driving License, with experience driving LMVs including Tempo Traveller or Tata Ace Prior experience in food trucks, cafés, or catering services. Fluent in Kannada, Tamil, or English (basic). Team-oriented and responsible with positive attitude.
