Job Description

Laboratory Testing

  • Conduct daily tests on wheat and flour (moisture, ash, gluten, falling number, farinograph, extensograph, etc.)
  • Ensure accuracy, SOP compliance, and equipment calibration
  • Report deviations and support root cause analysis

Application Trials

  • Execute baking trials (bread, biscuits) for flour performance validation
  • Document trial data, simulate customer conditions, and support product development

Documentation & Records

  • Maintain lab registers, test reports, sample logs, and traceability
  • Help prepare Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for dispatches

Support QA Team

  • Assist in audits, complaint investigations, and validation exercises
  • Follow GMP, GHP, and FSSC food safety protocols

Key Requirements

  • Diploma/B.Sc. in Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field
  • 2-4 years lab experience in a flour mill or bakery testing environment
  • Proficiency in flour testing instruments and data accuracy
