Food Engineer / Food Technologist Product Development

Food Engineer / Food Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop

    new food recipes, formulations, and product concepts

  • Create and improve

    food compounds, blends, and premixes

  • Conduct

    R&D trials, pilot trials, and sensory evaluations

  • Optimize formulations for

    taste, shelf life, cost, and scalability

  • Ensure compliance with

    FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards

  • Prepare

    technical documentation, SOPs, and formulation records

  • Coordinate with

    production and quality teams

    for pilot and commercial-scale trials
  • Support

    process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives

Education:

  • B.Tech / M.Tech Food Engineering / Food Technology

  • B.Sc / M.Sc Food Science (preferred)

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Strong understanding of

    food formulation and processing

  • Knowledge of

    regulatory standards and food safety

  • Hands-on experience with

    food trials and testing

  • Good documentation and coordination skills
