Job Description

As a member of our food and beverage team at Surpura Bagh, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience for our guests. Your main responsibilities will include: Guest Interaction: - Warmly greet and seat all F&B guests according to resort standards. - Present menus and take orders accurately, offering knowledgeable recommendations on cuisine and beverage selections. - Ensure friendly, attentive service throughout the guest's visit. Order Management and Service: - Deliver food and beverages in a timely, efficient manner to meet guest's expectations. - Serve courses and drinks using correct service techniques and presentation. - Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction at each stage of the meal. Dining Area Maintenance: - Maintain a clean, organized dining environment at all times. - Set up tables before guests arrive and bus/clean tables promptly after use. - Restock service stations, replenishing condiments, napkins, and drink supplies as needed. - Assist with opening and closing duties to support the team. Guest Requests and Problem Resolution: - Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, or complaints. - Resolve issues efficiently or escalate to management as appropriate, aiming to exceed guest expectations with quality and friendly service. Team Coordination: - Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow. Standards Compliance: - Follow all resort and departmental policies, including food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures. - Adhere to dress code and personal grooming standards. - Demonstrate professionalism and pride in the resort brand at all times. Required Qualifications and Experience: - Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. A diploma or degree in hospitality, tourism, or culinary arts is a plus. - Experience: Previous experience in a food & beverage or hospitality role is strongly preferred. Experience in fine-dining, bars, cafes, or resorts is advantageous. Training in responsible alcohol service or bar service is a plus. - Customer Service Orientation: Proven ability to interact pleasantly with guests, demonstrating a genuine hospitality attitude.
