Role Summary

The Food & Beverage Manager for a High Net Worth Individual (HNI) residence is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all food and beverage operations, ensuring the highest standards of hospitality, personalized service, and culinary excellence for the homeowner, their family, and guests. This role requires acting as a facilitator between household staff, external vendors, and the resident to provide a seamless and luxurious F&B experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Planning & Customization

  • Develop and update menus based on dietary preferences, health restrictions, and seasonal changes.
  • Collaborate with chefs for new culinary concepts, fine dining, and themed events.
  • Service & Guest Experience

  • Maintain exceptional customer service for all guests, ensuring memorable and personalized experiences.
  • Address requests, complaints, and feedback promptly and discreetly.
  • Coordinate F&B deliveries and service for private events.
  • Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise outsourced F&B staff.
  • Conduct evaluations, resolve disputes, and foster a high-performance work environment.
  • Organize luxury service standards training.
  • Procurement & Inventory

  • Oversee the selection and ordering of premium ingredients, beverages, and supplies.
  • Manage vendor relationships for exclusivity and quality.
  • Budget & Financials

  • Manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize spending while maintaining exceptional quality.
  • Quality Assurance & Safety

  • Enforce food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards.
  • Conduct regular audits for regulatory adherence.
  • Collaboration

  • Coordinate with other household departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Liaise with outside caterers and hospitality professionals for large events.
  • Additional Duties

  • Keep updated on culinary trends and introduce relevant innovations.
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in F&B management, luxury hospitality, or private residence management.
  • Degree/Diploma in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of high-end cuisine, wines/beverages, and luxury service protocols.
  • Leadership, strategic planning, budget, and recruitment skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate needs.
  • Proficiency in restaurant/household management software and POS/inventory systems.
  • Food safety certifications; alcohol service certifications are a plus.
