Floor Support Officer

Role & responsibilities

1. CCTV & Surveillance Monitoring

• Monitor all CCTV cameras and ensure 247 surveillance of the premises.
  
• Regularly check recording status, camera visibility, and system health.
  
• Troubleshoot issues related to DVR/NVR, cameras, and network connectivity.
  
• Coordinate with vendors for repair, maintenance, or camera replacement.
  
• Maintain logs of camera downtime, incidents, and technical issues.
  

2. Floor IT Support

• Provide daily technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and networking devices.
  
• Handle user requests such as system installation, software updates, and troubleshooting.
  
• Ensure smooth working of LAN, Wi-Fi, biometric devices, and office IT equipment.
  
• Attend urgent IT calls from different departments and resolve them promptly.
  
• Maintain IT Asset Inventory (systems, accessories, adapters, etc.).
  

3. Mobile Connection Handling

• Manage and track all official mobile numbers issued to employees.
  
• Check the connectivity, signal issues, and mobile data activation for employees.
  
• Process new SIM card requests and coordinate with telecom service providers.
  
• Maintain billing records and ensure timely payment of monthly bills.
  
• Deactivate connections for exited employees and update the tracker.
  

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain logs for IT support calls, camera downtime, and mobile connections.
  
• Prepare monthly IT reports for management review.
  
• Ensure proper documentation for issuing new devices, SIM cards, and IT assets.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in IT/Computer Science or equivalent.
  
• Minimum 25 years of IT support experience.
  
• Hands-on experience in CCTV monitoring, NVR/DVR operation.
  
• Knowledge of mobile networks, SIM activation, billing & service provider coordination.
  
• Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware, software & networking).
  
• Good communication skills and ability to handle pressure.
