Job Title: Oracle Apps DBA

Responsibilities

• Oracle Database Administration Activities:
• Installation and upgrade of Oracle Databases (9i, 10g, 11g, 12c, 19c).
• Installation, upgrade, and managed services experience in Oracle Applications (11i and R12).
• Proficiency with AD utilities for administration tasks.
• Perform cloning and patching of Oracle Applications and databases.
• Thorough understanding of Concurrent Managers.
• Backup, housekeeping, and log file cleanup activities.
• Execute sysadmin tasks:
• User administration
• Responsibilities and request groups
• Register custom applications, forms, printer setups, etc.
• Manage, monitor, and configure Oracle Workflow.
• Create and manage database users, roles, and password policies.
• Expertise in RMAN, hot & cold backups.
• Handle database space management, export/import operations, and performance tuning at DB and Apps levels.
• Proactively monitor systems and resolve issues.
• Manage Disaster Recovery (DR) using Data Guard physical standby.
• Work effectively in Linux environments.
• Create, review, and optimize DML/DDL scripts.
• Perform security tasks such as access reviews and data encryption.
• Hands-on experience with OEM (12c/13c) Cloud Control for monitoring and administration.
