Floor Supervisor

1. Workshop Floor ManagementSupervise day-to-day workshop operations. Ensure proper job flow from vehicle check-in to final delivery. Monitor workspace cleanliness, tool availability, and safety standards. Oversee bay utilization and ensure minimal idle time. 2. Job Allocation & MonitoringAllocate repair and service jobs to technicians based on skill and workload. Track progress of each job and ensure timely completion. Conduct periodic quality checks on completed jobs. Ensure strict adherence to standard repair procedures. 3. Customer Handling (Service Front Support)Coordinate with Service Advisors regarding customer concerns. Handle escalated technical issues and provide accurate explanations. Assist in resolving repeat complaints to ensure customer satisfaction. 4. Technical Support Guide technicians on difficult repairs or troubleshooting. Ensure availability and correct usage of special tools and diagnostic equipment. Coordinate with parts department for timely availability of spares. 5. Process Compliance & Documentation Ensure repair orders are properly filled and closed. Maintain job cards, checklists, and quality control documents. Follow OEM service guidelines and workshop SOPs. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental rules. 6. Team Supervision Monitor performance, productivity, and discipline of technicians. Conduct skill assessments and recommend training needs. Motivate team to maintain high service standards. 7. Reporting Prepare daily workshop productivity and efficiency reports. Share repeat job data, pending spare parts reports, and vehicle delivery status. Highlight major repairs or warranty concerns to management. Required Skills & Qualifications:ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering. 3–6 years of workshop experience, preferably in 3-wheeler service. Strong technical knowledge of diesel/CNG/electric 3-wheelers. Ability to manage technicians and handle customer issues. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of job cards, warranty processes, and workshop documentation.
