Job Title: First Mile Coordinator Global 3PL Operations

Location: India- Gurgaon

Position Type: Full-time role

About Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive First Mile Coordinator to manage the

movement of goods from our SEA vendors (e.g., Vietnam, India, Indonesia) to global

consolidation hubs via 3PL partners. This role will be based out of our India office and will work

closely with the Freight Documentation & Operations team to ensure smooth origin pickups,

timely dispatches, and accurate handovers to freight forwarders.

Your Day-to-Day

• Coordinate daily pickups with 3PL partners across Southeast Asia (Vietnam, India,

Indonesia, etc.).

• Partner with vendors to make sure products are ready to go—correct packaging,

labeling, and documentation in place.

• Troubleshoot delays in real time—flag issues, unblock stuck shipments, and escalate

smartly when needed.

• Align with internal ops teams, especially Freight Documentation, to ensure seamless

cargo handoffs.

• Track shipments live from pickup to consolidation hub and report exceptions

proactively.

• Own the numbers: Share daily snapshots on vendor readiness, pickup success, and

3PL performance.

Key Responsibilities:

First Mile Execution & Coordination

• Coordinate daily pickup plans with 3PL partners and vendors across SEA countries.

• Monitor movement timelines to ensure timely cargo handover to designated freight

forwarders.

• Review booking confirmations and validate pickup addresses, contact points, and ready

dates.

3PL & Vendor Management

• Act as the point of contact for vendor-side dispatch queries and 3PL pickup coordination.

• Work with vendors to ensure packaging, labeling, and shipping documentation is ready

as per SOPs.

• Escalate and resolve delays, discrepancies, or non-adherence to SLAs proactively.

Collaboration with Internal Teams

• Liaise with Freight Documentation Coordinators to align pickups with final uplift

schedules.

• Support inventory visibility and cargo readiness reporting for cross-functional planning

teams.

• Assist with slot planning and cargo consolidation activities at the origin.

Tracking & Reporting

• Maintain real-time tracking of pickup status, exception cases, and vendor compliance

metrics.

• Share daily/weekly reports on vendor readiness, pickup success rates, and 3PL

performance.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2-4 years in first-mile logistics or vendor operations, preferably in

cross-border e-commerce or freight forwarding.

• Knowledge: Solid understanding of SEA origin logistics and export-handling practices.

• Skills:

Excellent coordination and follow-up abilities

Strong communication with external vendors and 3PL teams

Hands-on experience with shipment tracking tools or logistics ERPs

Proficient on MS excel is must
