Firewall Engineer

You will be responsible for learning and managing Network Infrastructure-related issues, with a focus on troubleshooting network issues primarily related to FortiGate devices, Wireless controller, and access points. Additionally, you will be required to make enhancements in operational processes and manage the LAN and WAN environment of G+D Infrastructure globally. Your role will involve monitoring and analyzing network services to improve SLAs, working closely with global sites to support audit governance and management, and producing Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and remediation plans as necessary. In terms of education and certifications, you should hold a University Degree and Certifications in the technology-related field, including FortiGate / Cisco / Aruba Certification and other relevant technical certifications. Experience in structured and formalized IT operations according to ITIL standards is also required. Soft skills that are mandatory for this role include excellent communication skills, good logical reasoning and analytical skills, the ability to collaborate/work with different teams, motivation to learn and grow in the Network domain, being a quick learner, having clarity of thought, and the ability to ask the right questions. From a technical perspective, you must have experience in the hardware and software architecture of Cisco, Aruba, and FortiGate product lines, as well as in IP-subnetting, stp/vtp, switching/routing, IPsec/GRE tunnel, and VPN solutions. LAN / WAN network knowledge, TCP / IP knowledge, application-level troubleshooting, wireless solution design and implementation on Aruba and Cisco platforms, basic understanding of Linux Server, DNS, DHCP, NTP, LDAP, knowledge of traffic filtering using types of ACL, Route Maps, QOS implementation, and technical knowledge of (Tacacs /Radius /ACS) and web access security for Proxy-based solutions are also required. Overall, you should have at least 1+ years of experience in a related field or industry to excel in this role.,
