Job Description We are looking for a qualified and experienced Fire & Safety Officer to ensure the safety and compliance of a large, gated community in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fire prevention, lpg, lifts, risk assessment, emergency preparedness, and compliance with local fire safety regulations. Preferred Profile: 1. Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Fire & Safety Engineering from a recognized institution (or) PG Diploma in Industrial Safety (preferably approved by the Directorate of Factories). 2. Certifications (Preferred): Fire Safety & Disaster Management (NFSC, Nagpur or equivalent), NEBOSH Certificate (Occupational Health & Safety), IOSH Managing Safely (Basic Safety Management Certification), First Aid & CPR Certification (Red Cross, St. John Ambulance, or equivalent). 3. Experience : 05 to 08 years of relevant experience in fire safety management, preferably in: Residential High Rise Gated Communities, Facility Management Companies, or Commercial Buildings. Experience in Fire Risk Assessment and Hazard Mitigation, Conducting Fire Drills, Lift Safety & Training. Ensuring compliance with Telangana Fire Services Act & GHMC Fire Safety Regulations and coordinating with emergency services and local fire authorities. 4. Key Responsibilities : - Implement fire safety protocols and emergency response plans. Conduct regular safety audits and maintain fire safety equipment. - Train security, housekeeping, and residents on fire-lpg-lift safety and evacuation procedures. Ensure compliance with GHMC and NBC fire safety norms. - Liaise with local fire departments for inspections, approvals, and emergency coordination. Maintain documentation of fire drills, safety inspections, and equipment servicing. Salary & Benefits: As per industry standards
