ABAP & Fiori Developer

Key Responsibilities

1. ABAP Development

• Develop, enhance, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, function modules, BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits.
• Build and optimize

  CDS views

  for analytical and transactional scenarios.
• Create and maintain

  OData services

  for integration with Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Debug and troubleshoot ABAP code, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Work on

  IDocs, ALE, BDC, and RFC

  for integrations and data migration.

2. Fiori/UI5 Development

• Design and develop

  Fiori apps

  using SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and XML views.
• Customize and extend standard Fiori apps using SAP Web IDE or BAS.
• Ensure responsive design and cross-device compatibility.
• Work closely with functional teams to design intuitive user interfaces.

3. System Integration & Support

• Collaborate with functional consultants and business teams to gather requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Integrate Fiori apps with SAP backend systems via OData services.
• Provide technical support for production issues, including debugging and performance tuning.
• Prepare

4. Best Practices & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure code quality and compliance with SAP standards.
• Adopt

  SAP best practices

  for performance optimization and security.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and Fiori design guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education:

  Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Experience:

  3 to 6 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience, with at least 2 years in Fiori/UI5.
• Strong experience in

  ABAP on HANA

  (CDS Views, AMDP, performance tuning).
• Proficiency in

  OData services

  creation and consumption.
• Hands-on experience in

  SAPUI5, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, XML, JSON

  .
• Understanding of

  Fiori Launchpad configuration

  and role-based access.
• Good knowledge of debugging techniques and performance analysis.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with

  S/4HANA

  environment.
• Knowledge of SAP Workflow.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).
• Exposure to SAP Gateway and REST APIs.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
