We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Quality Control & Assurance Manager to lead and drive quality initiatives across our unit. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and team leadership, with a focus on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Quality Strategy & Operations Develop and lead the units quality strategy aligned with organizational goals and compliance standards. Oversee implementation and maintenance of QMS, FSSC, BRC, and ISO 17025 systems, ensuring audit readiness and best-in-class practices. Coordinate and manage specifications for Raw Materials (RM), Semi-Finished Goods (SFG), and Finished Goods (FG). Conduct internal audits, support external audits, and close non-conformities in a timely manner. Drive TPM tools, 5S practices, and ESG-compliant quality processes. Customer and Compliance Management Address customer complaints with timely and structured responses; implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for internal and external non-conformances. Serve as Deputy Quality Manager for ISO 17025 accreditation and oversee all NABL-related activities. Lab & Process Management Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices, SOPs, safety, and environmental standards. Validate analytical procedures, manage sample storage, and maintain accurate result reporting. Conduct regular process verifications and validations in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Team Leadership & Collaboration Lead the QC and QA teams, fostering ownership, discipline, and a problem-solving mindset. Plan and prioritize tasks, set KPIs, and conduct monthly performance reviews. Mentor and upskill team members to ensure continuous improvement and technical excellence. Collaborate with Application, NPD, R&D, and Procurement teams to support quality in projects and procurement audits. Performance Monitoring & Reporting Monitor First Time Right (FTR) metrics, delivery due list failures, and PSS rejections. Generate daily and monthly quality performance reports for internal reviews. Represent the KL04 plant in daily BI QC discussions and support strategic initiatives. Leadership Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the QC & QA departments. Align team efforts with departmental goals and provide regular guidance and mentorship. Promote knowledge sharing, adherence to systems, and audit preparedness. Support the functional head in key quality initiatives and succession planning. Process Goals Ensure timely resolution and feedback on customer complaints. Convert root causes into updated specifications to prevent recurrence. Monitor daily FTR and delivery failures, ensuring prompt corrective actions. Lead monthly performance reviews and maintain compliance with audit closure timelines. Additional Responsibilities Take on tasks and initiatives as assigned by the Head of Department (HOD) or senior management. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemistry. Minimum 12 years of experience in Quality Control/Assurance, preferably in manufacturing or process industry. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and cross-functional collaboration. Strong knowledge of QMS, ISO 17025, FSSC, BRC, GMP, and regulatory standards. Proficiency in quality tools, RCA, CAPA, and statistical quality control.
