Finishing Engineer

As a Finishing Engineer, your role will involve taking self-initiative to ensure the desired quality standards are met without any compromise. You should demonstrate proven ability to work under pressure and complete tasks within deadlines. Your responsibilities will include extracting the desired quantum and quality of works from vendors, possessing knowledge on MEP works and coordinating them with civil works, and briefing vendors on the execution methods of works. Key Responsibilities: - Execute all types of works including civil work, electrical and plumbing coordination, finishing works, up to the final handover of the Towers. - Identify and correct quality issues in finishing. - Assist in managing and delivering the project. - Check plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations. - Oversee the selection and requisition of materials. - Manage, monitor, and interpret the contract design documents. - Liaise with subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce. - Oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site. - Prepare reports as and when required. - Assist in resolving unexpected technical difficulties and other problems. - Study and execute architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. - Responsible for all setting outs, level finishes survey, and their records. Qualifications Required: - Prior experience in finishing works and managing projects. - Knowledge of MEP works and their coordination with civil works. - Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. - Proficiency in identifying and correcting quality issues. - Good communication and coordination skills with vendors and team members. - Familiarity with reading and interpreting plans and drawings accurately.
