Finishing Engineer

The Finishing Engineer role requires a self-motivated individual who is dedicated to achieving high-quality standards without compromising on excellence. You should demonstrate a proven ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines consistently. Your responsibilities will include supervising and ensuring the desired quantum and quality of work from vendors, with a particular focus on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works and their coordination with civil works. A key aspect of the role will involve briefing vendors on the execution methods of works and ensuring they adhere to the specified requirements. Your experience should encompass a range of tasks, including civil work, electrical and plumbing coordination, finishing works, and final handover of towers. You will be expected to identify and rectify quality issues in finishing, contribute to project management and delivery, and review plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing material selection and requisition, interpreting contract design documents, liaising with subcontractors, supervisors, and other project stakeholders, and monitoring quality control and health and safety matters on-site. You should be prepared to handle unexpected technical challenges and resolve problems efficiently. Proficiency in studying and executing architectural, structural, and MEP drawings is crucial for this role. Furthermore, you will be in charge of all setting outs, level finishes surveys, and record-keeping. This is a full-time position that requires your presence on-site. The work schedule may involve day shifts and rotational shifts. Your ability to effectively manage tasks, collaborate with diverse teams, and maintain high standards of quality and safety will be essential for success in this role.,
