Financial Reporting Specialist

You will be working as a Financial Reporting Specialist in a leading IT solutions provider. Your main responsibilities will include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. You will also be responsible for submitting accurate financial reports to relevant authorities in a timely manner to meet regulatory requirements. Your role will involve analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and discrepancies, providing detailed explanations and recommendations for corrective actions. You will also support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Additionally, you will work on identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance financial reporting processes. To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in financial reporting, accounting, or a related field. It is essential to have a good understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Experience working with onshore geographies and knowledge of reporting standards in the UK and US will be beneficial. Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools, especially advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, is necessary. Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights are key requirements. You should have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping and reporting. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for collaborating with team members, management, and external parties.
