Job Description

As a Financial Reporting Associate/Senior Associate at Morgan Stanley Fund Services (MSFS) in Mumbai, India, you will assist in the preparation of financial statements for hedge fund clients. You will be part of the global team based in Mumbai and Glasgow, reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager. Your responsibilities will include working on financial statements under US GAAP, UK GAAP, and IFRS, collaborating with the team to deliver timely financial reports for audits. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work efficiently with the financial reporting team to deliver financial statements to Hedge Fund clients while ensuring compliance with US GAAP/IFRS for annual audits and interim reports. - Prepare financials from supporting documents. - Assist in preparing Condensed Schedule of Investments (CSoI) and Statement of Cash Flows. - Support auditors by providing valid backup data for all figures in the financial statements. - Utilize analytical and interpretational skills effectively. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. - Fully completed Accounting qualification/certification such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent. - 2 years PQE in auditing or financial reporting preferred, experience in Public accounting or Hedge Fund Administration is advantageous. - Ability to draw financials of investment companies per US GAAP/IFRS. - Strong multitasking abilities, accuracy, and efficiency in tasks. - Client-focused with the capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Effective communication skills across cultures. - Proactive in issue identification and escalation. - Flexible approach to duties and work hours.,
