Financial Reporting Manager

As an Assurance Manager in the FAAS Financial Reporting team at EY, you will play a crucial role in providing end-to-end services related to financial planning and analysis for clients across Americas and EMEIA. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead yearly financial planning activities, monthly forecasting of revenue and cost lines, capacity optimization, and efficiency targets - Review budget to actuals analysis and provide necessary commentaries for variances - Prepare consolidated financial statements, quarterly and annual filings, shareholder reports, and business unit financial statements - Perform financial statement analysis and review, as well as prepare supplemental schedules - Ensure accuracy in reporting, adherence to KPIs and SLAs, and manage escalations effectively - Lead a team of 10-15 members, engage in hiring, structured learning path, and mentorship activities - Support senior managers in business development activities, maintain effective coordination with stakeholders, and resolve issues with accounting teams - Review work performed by team members, metrics reporting, variance reporting, and necessary documentation - Stay informed of professional standards, firm policies, and apply knowledge to complex client situations **Qualifications Required:** - CA, ACCA (UK), CPA, or Regular MBA from a reputed institute - 7-12 years of relevant experience including entity/business unit reporting and MIS reporting **Skills and Attributes:** - Strong understanding of financial planning and reporting life cycle - Extensive experience in business unit/entity level reporting, budget analysis, forecasting, and ERP packages like SAP, Hyperion, Anaplan, Metapraxis - Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office; knowledge of data analytics/visualization tools is an advantage - Flexibility to travel on short notice, strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills - Proactive approach to work and problem-solving At EY, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to building a better working world by providing exceptional client service, staying updated on industry practices, and leveraging technology to drive growth and transformation.,
