Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic person to join our Strategic Finance Team. This role is ideal for a results-oriented leader with a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering. The Senior Manager will be responsible for providing analytical leadership, influencing strategic decision-making, and driving initiatives to enhance profitability and operational performance. This role involves close collaboration with business leaders and Business Unit Heads to align financial goals with operational strategies and will report to the Associate Director, Head of Finance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Financial Modelling
  • Lead the annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Develop complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, business performance, and new product launches.
  • Analyze and evaluate new business opportunities and market expansions.
  • Prepare and present executive-level presentations and reports to communicate financial performance and strategic recommendations.

Business Partnering and Analysis
  • Serve as a key financial business partner to Business Unit Heads and the Sales Team.
  • Provide financial guidance and insights to influence strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Lead variance analysis and prepare financial reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Partnering with business teams to monitor budgetary controls on an on-going basis.

Financial Controllership Oversight
  • Oversee and manage financial controllership functions, including general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial reports and statements.
  • Lead and coordinate all audit activities, including internal and statutory audits.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal controls.

Process Improvement and Leadership
  • Drive initiatives to enhance profitability and operational performance.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and implement best practices for forecasting and analysis.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members within the function.

Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Business Finance / FP&A / Strategic Finance roles.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; MBA (Finance) from Tier-1 institutes is a plus.
  • Strong expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Proven track record in cost control, margin improvement, and business partnering.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, ownership, and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
