Financial Planning And Analysis Specialist

Role & responsibilities

The FP&A role at Zenplus is responsible for driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making and business growth. The role will work closely with leadership, business heads, and operations teams to provide insights, track financial performance, and ensure optimal utilization of resources.

1. Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
2. Analyze financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for senior management, board of directors, and stakeholders.
4. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, including revenue projections, expense analysis, and capital expenditure planning.
5. Conduct financial analysis on business initiatives, investment opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives to support decision-making processes.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial information, validate assumptions, and drive alignment on financial targets.
7. Evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and other business transactions.
8. Support the development of key performance metrics and dashboards to monitor business performance and drive accountability.
9. Identify areas for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
10. Stay informed about industry trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that may impact financial performance.
11. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow statements.
12. Analyze financial performance, trends, and variances, and provide actionable insights to senior management
13. Prepare periodic MIS, dashboards, and performance reports for senior management.
14. Provide financial insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
15. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports for leadership and promoters.
16. Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods; highlight key variances with actionable insights.
17. Prepare rolling forecasts and scenario analyses.
18. Monitor cash flows, working capital, and liquidity positions.
19. Support treasury planning and fund requirement assessments.
20. Track KPIs, unit economics, margins, and cost drivers across businesses.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid ICAI membership.

Experience

7-11 years of post-qualification experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis.

Prior experience in healthcare, service industry, B2B, or corporate setup preferred.

Exposure to multi-entity or fast-growing organizations will be an added advantage.
