Job Description

As the FP&A Manager within Tenneco's Corporate FP&A team, you will be instrumental in advancing the company's financial strategy, specifically focusing on consolidating financial estimates. Collaborating closely with the Senior Manager, Senior Director, and cross-functional teams, you will provide valuable insights and recommendations to enhance monthly FP&A analysis and recommendations. Your key responsibilities will include managing working capital effectively by developing finance models to support the BU teams, identifying risks in NWC management, and recommending mitigation strategies. You will also assist in improving forecasting accuracy and granularity, establishing metrics and KPIs for cash flow performance, and contributing to monthly cash flow forecasting targets. In addition to your financial responsibilities, you will act as a trusted advisor to the corporate FP&A teams, offering actionable recommendations on corporate finance strategies. Collaborating with Accounting, Treasury, and business units, you will align on financial goals and compliance requirements, fostering a culture of excellence in FP&A processes. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. You should have at least 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Consulting, or Banking, with expertise in trend analysis, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity forecasting. Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industries is advantageous, along with proficiency in financial modeling and FP&A systems such as OneStream or similar tools. Key competencies for success in this role include strategic thinking, results orientation, financial acumen, leadership and team development, and cross-functional collaboration. You should possess exceptional communication and presentation skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
