Financial Modelling & Research Analyst

Role Overview: You will be joining a high-performance team in the established Financial Advisory (FA) practice, focusing on top tier modelling and rigorous research. Key Responsibilities: - Build and refine complex financial models across diverse sectors, including valuation models, operating models, and scenario planning models. - Integrate market research, competitor analysis, and industry dynamics into modelling assumptions. - Contribute to developing modelling templates and frameworks for the team. - Assist in designing and administering technical tests for future hires to maintain top talent. - Collaborate with the Manager and senior leadership to ensure outputs align with commercial and strategic objectives. Qualification Required: - Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in advanced formulas, scenario/sensitivity analysis, and dynamic structures. Knowledge of VBA or automation is a plus. - Strong grasp of accounting, corporate finance, and valuation fundamentals. - Some exposure to transaction, budgeting, or strategic planning models preferred. - Analytical and research skills with a keen interest in markets and business drivers.
