Role - We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Delivery Manager to oversee end-to-end finance and accounting service delivery for our U.S.-based clients. This role requires a strong grasp of accounting principles (GAAP), excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage deadlines, processes, and people across multiple client accounts.

Your key responsibilities include :
- Planning & Resource Management
- Own the master close calendar for assigned clients, factoring in client expectations, holidays, and team member PTO.
- Assess and manage resources needs to align with delivery timelines and shifting client priorities.
- Communicate schedule changes clearly and promptly.
- Month-End Close & Financial Oversight
- Lead and execute the month-end close process with accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and documented within the close binder.
- Maintain and update comprehensive review templates with observations and reviewer notes.
- Finalize financials post-client summit in collaboration with the Channel Partner Controllers. Client Communication & Relationship Management
- Ensure all client communications, especially emails, are responded to within a 24-hour turnaround.
- Participate in monthly client summits; document and drive post-summit updates and next steps.
- Review and send weekly update emails to clients and Channel Partner stakeholders, ensuring alignment and visibility.
- Team Leadership & People Development
- Mentor, lead, and support the accounting team, particularly during high-pressure cycles.
- Review all key deliverables for quality and accuracy before client submission.
- Conduct regular 1:1s to discuss team member performance, development plans, and areas of improvement.
- Provide timely feedback and binder quality ratings to team members.
- Identify knowledge gaps and ensure training and upskilling initiatives are in place. Governance & Review
- Conduct General Accounting (GA) reviews; track and resolve recurring issues with support from Channel Partner Controllers.
- Proactively raise red flags where necessary and provide actionable process improvement recommendations.
Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA-qualified (preferred).
- 6+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a delivery or people management role.
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close processes.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems like QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Xero, or similar.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing distributed teams and delivering to U.S.-based clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to handle multiple clients, shifting priorities, and fast-paced delivery environments.
