Financial Controller

Role Overview:

Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the finance, accounts, and commercial operations of the company
  
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for projects and operations
  
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and MIS reports
  
• Manage project costing, revenue recognition, and working capital cycles
  
• Monitor receivables, payables, cash flow, and fund utilization
  
• Lead statutory compliance including taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax), ROC filings, and audits
  
• Develop internal financial controls and governance mechanisms
  
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies
  
• Assist the leadership team in strategic financial decision-making
  
• Lead and mentor the finance team to drive accountability and performance
  

Key Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification
  
• Minimum 18 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the interior fit-out, construction, or project-based industry
  
• Proven track record in handling end-to-end finance function in a mid-to-large organization
  
• Strong understanding of project accounting, taxation, and compliance
  
• Hands-on experience in ERP/accounting systems (SAP)
  
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  
• Ability to work closely with project teams and senior management in a fast-paced environment
