Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Controller to lead our finance and accounts function. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial planning, compliance, and risk management, coupled with hands-on experience in managing project-based accounting in the construction or interior fit-out sector. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the finance, accounts, and commercial operations of the company Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for projects and operations Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and MIS reports Manage project costing, revenue recognition, and working capital cycles Monitor receivables, payables, cash flow, and fund utilization Lead statutory compliance including taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax), ROC filings, and audits Develop internal financial controls and governance mechanisms Coordinate with external auditors, banks, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies Assist the leadership team in strategic financial decision-making Lead and mentor the finance team to drive accountability and performance Key Requirements: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification Minimum 18 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the interior fit-out, construction, or project-based industry Proven track record in handling end-to-end finance function in a mid-to-large organization Strong understanding of project accounting, taxation, and compliance Hands-on experience in ERP/accounting systems (SAP) Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills Ability to work closely with project teams and senior management in a fast-paced environment
Role Should have experience of using ERP software Create/Update Purchase Orders & Work Orders Should have experience in procurement of interior items Should have done procurement for corporate interior fit out projects Material Planning and Sourcing Ensuring on time delivery & Cost reduction of Material.
