Role Overview


As a Financial Consultant – NRI, your primary responsibility will be to acquire and manage Non-Resident Indian (NRI) clients by offering personalized financial advisory services. You will promote and cross-sell a suite of investment solutions—always with a focus on ethical practices and long-term client value.



Key Responsibilities


• Expand the NRI client base via PIS partner banks, client referrals, exchange houses, cold calling & lead generation.

• Advise on and promote:

Mutual Funds

Insurance

Equity & Debt Instruments

PMS (Portfolio Management Services)

Smartfolios & future product offerings

• Drive cross-selling and up-selling of financial products.

• Grow and maintain Assets Under Management (AUM) of acquired clients.

• Build strong, long-term relationships through regular communication & client engagement.

• Educate clients on services, investment options, and market updates (Equity Research, IPOs, NFOs, etc.).

• Assist clients with investment applications and documentation.

• Deliver after-sales support, client satisfaction, and retention.

• Maintain accurate CRM/back-office records and report client acquisition activities.


Education

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (Finance/Economics preferred)

Experience


Minimum 1 year of experience in financial services, banking, wealth management, or sales (NRI segment preferred)

Skills & Competencies


• Strong communication skills (English + local language; Malayalam preferred)

• Knowledge of Mutual Funds, Equity, Insurance, PMS

• Excellent interpersonal & client engagement skills

• Ability to travel and thrive in a target-driven environment

• Proficiency in CRM or client management tools

• Analytical & financial planning skills

Certifications

Must be willing to obtain mandatory certifications (e.g., NISM) as per industry standards
