Role Overview

• Position: Accounting and Audit Professional – Freelance, Remote
• Commitment: 15–25 hours/week, flexibility up to 40 hours/week
• Duration: 1–2 months
• Leverage financial expertise to evaluate and refine AI outputs. Shape intelligent systems used in finance and compliance.
  

Responsibilities

• Review and refine AI-generated accounting analyses, audit reports, and financial statements.
• Validate AI outputs for compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant standards.
• Provide structured feedback on clarity, accuracy, and adherence to accounting principles.
• Tag and organize content by accounting topic, industry sector, or complexity level.
• Support benchmarking efforts to assess AI model capabilities in financial domains.
  

Requirements / Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional accounting experience at top-tier public accounting firms or Fortune 500 companies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, CMA, or ACCA.
• Strong technical accounting proficiency, including knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Expertise in core accounting processes like financial reporting and tax compliance.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in specialized areas such as forensic accounting or government accounting.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or an MBA with an accounting concentration.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  

Engagement Details

• Competitive hourly rate: $40–$90 USD/hr, based on experience & geographic location
• Independent contractor
• Daily payment via Stripe Connect
• Fully remote and asynchronous schedule
